Objectives of All@C
(Unincorporated association)
1.Name
The name of the group shall be All@C Bude Ukulele Group, to be known as All@C.
2. Aims of All@C will be:
♦ To bring together senior people from Bude and surrounding areas.
♦ To support each other and enjoy friendship among our members.
♦ To have a marvellous time, much fun, share song and music, and play ukuleles, to bring our enjoyment of music and song to the wider community.
♦ To collect for charity, the present nominated charity being Cornwall Air Ambulance.
♦ Offer our musical entertainment to local organisations, including community groups, care and nursing homes, fetes etc; and also private functions; who will be invited at our discretion to make an appropriate donation, via ourselves, solely in support of the above charity.
3. Membership is open to anyone who:
♦ is retired or semi-retired from work, and resident in Bude or surrounding areas; and
♦ supports the aims of All@C
♦ can attend weekday practice sessions
♦ attends All@C performances when possible
♦ enjoys laughter and fun
4. Membership Fee
♦ Membership fee is to be reviewed annually to enable payment of practice venue rental and Public Liability Insurance, All@C website and incidental expenses for the benefit of the group, eg printing.
♦ The membership fee is paid on 1st September annually.
♦ New members fee payable at pro rata of annual fee, if joining during All@C membership year.
♦ A member who leaves during the membership year will not be reimbursed their membership fee.
All members will receive a receipt for payment of their membership fee.
5. Finances
♦ Treasurer and/or Assistant Treasurer will keep members’ details in accordance with Data Protection law
♦ Financial record of income and expenditure will be maintained by the Treasurer and a financial statement reported at AGM each August, at which time the future yearly costs will be provided to members
♦ Treasurer and/or assistant Treasurer are responsible for payment of rent of practice venue, provide cheque for PLI, payment for website and incidental expenses.
♦ Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer are responsible for lawful operation of All@C Community Bank Account.
♦ Two cheque signatories will be nominated by All@C (one to be the Treasurer). The signatories must not be related nor members of the same household. All payments will be signed by the two signatories.
6. Dissolution
♦ If a meeting is held and by simple majority of all the members, decides that it is necessary to close down the group, then all remaining money and other assets, once outstanding debts have been paid, will be donated to the group’s charitable organisation.
